Mental Health First Aid Training At Work Certification

LEARN HOW TO SUPPORT YOUR EMPLOYEES’ MENTAL HEALTH!

1. Mental Health First Aid at Work is a training program that teaches participants how to notice and support an individual who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use concern or crisis in a work environment and connect them with appropriate employee and community resources. Innovative is proud to sponsor this no-cost Mental Health First Aid Training for employers.

WHY MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING IN THE WORKPLACE?

Training has been shown to:

• Reduce stigma
• Increase employees’ mental health and substance use literacy
• Increase the likelihood that employees will reach out to someone who may be facing a mental health or substance use challenge
• Teach managers how to connect a distressed person with the appropriate resources in accordance with company policies

AFTER THE COURSE, YOU’LL BE ABLE TO

• Recognize common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance challenges
• Understand how to interact with a person in crisis
• Know how to connect a person with help
• How to access local resources for mental health support

Limited to 30 Participants. Limited to 2 colleagues per company. Geared towards employers with 100+ employees.

This training course is valued at $170 per participant. Innovative is proud to offer it onsite at no charge.

Participants who complete the training will receive a MHFA Certification, which is good for 36 months.
